The New Providence Partnership for Recreation is a collaborative organization comprised of the primary athletic and recreation groups within the Borough of New Providnce (PAL Football, Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Wrestling, NP Soccer Club, Chiefs and Rebels Lacrosse), along with local government and Board of Education representation
Our mission is to work together toward maximizing the progress toward improving recreation facilities as identified within the Recreation Master Plan for the Borough of New Providence. Our goal is to provide long-lasting and sustainable improvements by leveraging all possible resources and sources of funding to maximize progress, while minimizing the impact of these improvements on the shoulders of our taxpayers.
Our latest successful project came to life in July with the lighting of Lieder Field.
The First night football game took place on September 9, 2011
